Facility For UX Research
and Usability Testing

Based on our iterative experience running research sessions in various locations, our UX lab is designed carefully and equipped with facilities to observe and record (audio and video) the sessions, with a one-way mirror, and screen mirroring. Our lab is used as part of our consulting services and also available for rental for your testing needs.

Testing
Room

Neutral and comfortable space for participant to speak out their mind, the testing room hosts individual and small group sessions. The space layout can be arranged to accommodate testing concept sketches, digital and physical products.

Observation
Room

We welcome stakeholders to observe the study closely without adding distraction to the participants. Equipped with a one-way mirror and soundproof wall (so you can eat and drink peacefully), our observation room can accommodate up to three people comfortably. Remote viewing options and simultaneous translation are available upon request and charged separately.

Screen
Mirroring

A large screen in the observation room provides real-time view on what the participant is looking at, whether in paper, digital, or physical form. This helps observers to get specific context on what is being talked about.

A/V
Recording

Adjustable cameras are in place to capture both the screen interaction and facial expression. These are combined with voice through a field audio recorder, to produce clear video of the sessions.

Activities

Our UX lab is designed for flexibility: we can conduct usability testing sessions, in-depth interviews and small group sessions. So depending on the project needs, we make small changes to our lab to accommodate the requirements of the project.
